Phase 1 is designed to be intentional preparation for a life of apprenticeship with Jesus. Each segment is built around these steady practices:

• Slowing and Study
• Solitude/Silence/Reflection
• Story
• Prayer

These practices will first be introduced and, with practice, gradually increased as the apprenticeship journey continues. One-on-one coaching and pastoral counsel is available as well as opportunities to engage with other apprentices. Guided Apprenticeship is not designed around the value of completion, achievement, or accumulation of knowledge. Instead, initiated apprenticeship is the goal. The value we pursue is lived experience and the cultivation of intimate abiding with Jesus.

Phase 2 is designed to build on the preparation and practices of Phase 1. Each segment will continue to be built around these steady practices:

• Prayer

Phase 2 is movement from awakening to knowing, equipping to proficiency, and proficiency to mastering. Again, the goal is not to meet a deadline but to be fathered into proficiency and partnership with Jesus and the work of his Kingdom.
